Composites UK Announces Inaugural Session at Seawork 2024 to Accelerate Decarbonisation Efforts in the Marine Industry

Composites UK, the trade association dedicated to supporting the UK composites supply chain, has announced its inaugural session at Seawork 2024 in Southampton, sponsored by GRP Solutions, which is scheduled to take place on 11th June.

Composites UK Offsets Carbon Emissions with Make It Wild

Composites UK has recently begun to offset twenty tonnes of carbon emissions by planting six trees with Make It Wild in its Rowan Tree Farm Reserve in the west of the Peak District National Park. The association calculated its emissions over the period of 2022 taking into consideration things like the operation team’s energy usage and business travel habits. The offset will take place over a period of 40 years.
